Expedited Microgrant Funds for Baltimore Youth

Categories:

Baltimore-based Karma for Cara Foundation is announcing expedited microgrant funds available for youth-led service projects in the Baltimore area. Karma for Cara was founded by 21-year-old Cara Becker and her family—Baltimore natives with deep roots in the city.

With the recent events in Baltimore, Karma for Cara wants to ensure that young people in the Baltimore area who are working on programs to help clean up and bring together the city will be given funding request responses within 48 hours.

The Karma for Cara Youth Microgrant program promotes and engages kids in volunteerism. K4C invite those 18 and under to apply for funding of up to $1,000 to help complete service projects to better their communities.

Since the microgrant program began in October 2014, Karma for Cara has awarded 16 microgrants. These grants have engaged hundreds of volunteers in more than 1,000 hours of community service.

Baltimore applicants can find the microgrant application on the Karma for Cara website here.

Any questions and all application materials should be emailed to info@karma.sitenotlaunched.com.
