1. What Inspired you to create “Boxes to Feed the Bellies”?
Driven by my passion for philanthropy, I was inspired by the outreach this organization had done in the past. Through my research I discovered that they provide meals for thousands of families, something I wanted to be a part of.
2. Why is your work important to you?
This work is important to me because I want to make a difference in the community whether on a large or small scale. I want to help those in my community who seem to have lost their way.
3. How did the money from the grant help with your project?
The money helped my project because we were able to purchase additional food items for the organization which allowed us to prepare more boxes and make a greater impact in the community.
4. What message of giving back do you have for others?
My message would be to do whatever you can to make a change. It doesn’t matter if the project is daily, monthly, yearly etc. what matters is the impact on the community
